We had a ball! The girls designed dresses for our pretend runway show. They were given a theme "Flower Girl," "Royal Ball," "Dancing Queen", etc., and then were given a time limit to come up with a fashion. They would then model their design. Mostly the girls screamed!! They had so much fun. Don't really know why girls scream, but they totally loved this party.

I was just getting my hair done, trying to explain this crazy fun toy. I was telling them about my grand daughters 8th birthday party and what a blast these girls had. You would have needed ear plugs, because all they could do was scream with excitement over each new design. We would give them a them (like Flower Girl, Royal Ball etc) and then let them design. We had a runway (a runner rug) that they could walk out on, while everyone cheered. Ohhh it was sooo much fun.

And of course, we had a camera going (to send home pictures with the girls). Anyway, thought I would post one of the pictures.

Attention to all you parents of budding fashion designers! (I'm included in this group) As a parent of a creative girl who is constantly designing and drawing and as we say at our house "crafting", I have the perfect toy recommendation for your daughter this Christmas: Shailie.

Design Challenge: Create a Fairy inspired dress in 5 minutes. These ladies were all up for the challenge! Their designer friends (not pictured) were obviously very creative and talented. These Fairy inspired dresses are... inspired! Love them.
